In Adventure Runs

A beautiful 16 mile trail in Albuquerque,NM, that meanders near old town Albuquerque, and runs north/south alongside the Rio Grande River. There is a trail that is paved, and a trail that is dirt that are parallel to each other. Both include mileage markers to keep track of your distance.

It is filled with breath taking scenery, and park areas, including the Rio Grande Valley State Park, that occur on either side of these two trails. It is easy to find from the motel we stayed at, The Monterey Motel, and we walked about three blocks to find the trail head.

If ever you plan on traveling to Albuquerque, perhaps to see the ballon festival in October, I suggest you spend some time to visit this trail. It is so worth it!

Happy trails!
